How to submit a referral:
- Submit the candidate’s CV via the Microsoft Form and tell us why you think the candidate would be suitable (in a few sentences).
- Claim your reward if the referred candidate is successfully placed in an eligible role and passes the probationary period review.
Please note that there is no limit on the number of candidate referrals an employee can submit, however, the candidate’s authorization must be obtained before submitting a CV.
Upon receiving a referral, the HR department will review the application on its merits.
It is important to point out that the referral of a candidate, from a current employee, does not oblige Fluiconnecto to conduct an interview with the candidate suggested by the employee and the decision to hire the candidate is at Fluiconnecto’s sole and exclusively discretion.
The progress of the referred candidate’s application is a confidential matter between Fluiconnecto and the referred candidate and Fluiconnecto will not share such progress with the referring employee. However, the referring employee will be notified if (i) the referred candidate secures the role, and (ii) when and if the referred candidate completes the probation period review.
Who is not eligible?
Employees who as part of their role have the responsibility to fill a position and/or provide for the continuing ability of Fluiconnecto to meet its recruitment requirements are not eligible for the program. Employees in this category include but are not limited to:
- Employees and Managers (direct and indirect) who are involved in the hiring or selection process;
- HR Department.
Referrals that do not follow the above-indicated process or comply with the rules of the program, including where the employee referral is submitted retrospectively i.e. received after the date of the first interview, or where the introduction is verbal or ad-hoc, will not receive a referral reward.
Referrals for any of the following positions will not trigger for a referral reward:
- casual positions;
- fixed term contract positions of less than 12 months;
- temporary and permanent positions hired through recruitment agency.
Referrals of any of the following candidates will not trigger for a referral reward:
- candidates currently employed (or have previously worked) for Fluiconnecto;
- candidates who have already been referred by another employee (the recommendation received first will be taken into consideration);
- candidates who have already submitted their application via another source (if the candidate’s application is received before the employee recommendation);
- candidates who have been submitted by a recruitment agency.
The referral reward is a gross amount of $500 upon successful employment and another $500 upon successful completion of the probationary period review. Both payments will be subject to taxation and processed in the subsequent pay period of notification.
The conditions for receiving the reward are as follows:
- both the referring employee and referred candidate must be employed by Fluiconnecto at the time of payment of the reward;
- the referring employee must not be within the notice period for termination at the time of payment of the reward;
As previously stated, the reward for recommending a candidate who will subsequently be hired by Fluiconnecto cannot be split among multiple employees. When more than one employee has referred the same candidate, only the first person (chronologically) to submit the candidate’s CV will receive the reward.
