Hyspec Cote d’Ivoire SARL officially registered
Hyspec Mining Services is pleased to announce that it is now officially registered in Cote d’Ivoire, under the trading name Hyspec Cote d’Ivoire SARL.
Hyspec is now able to provide consigned workshops in Côte d’Ivoire, complete with hose assembly equipment, stock and teams of hose technicians. Its first consigned workshop is already set up on the Tongon mine, where it was operating a managed workshop until September 2013. The Tongon workshop is now open to all of the mine’s contractors. A central warehouse and workshop are currently being deployed in Abidjan, and should be operational early 2014. Abidjan will serve as a central base to cater for the needs of mining contractors and other industries active in the Abidjan area. Stock to mine site based workshops will also be resupplied from there.
“We expect to deploy a number of other mine site based workshops in 2014 in Côte d’Ivoire”, explains Bertrand Moins, Hyspec Operations Manager for Cote d’Ivoire. “The mining industry in Cote d’Ivoire is currently at a standstill, but we are confident that it will start recovering again in a few months’ time once the new mining code has been implemented and funding for new exploration projects becomes available. We will then be uniquely positioned to address the new projects’ requirements. There are also a number of additional markets that we believe we can address in Côte d’Ivoire, such as the Oil and Gas and the road construction industries. ”
