Certificate of Recognition for good housekeeping awarded to Hyspec Guinea by Anglogold Ashanti at Siguiri

In August, Hyspec Guinea was awarded a certificate of recognition for good housekeeping and environmental behaviour by the Anglogold Ashanti Suigiri Environmental Program team.
Individual Safety Awards were issued a couple of weeks later by Anglogold Ashanti to Hyspec employees Alseny Camara, Daniel Bangoura, and Oury Bah for their good behaviour in respect with SAG and Hyspec Health and Safety procedures.
“We strive to ensure that our workshops are kept clean at all times in order to avoid hose and environmental contamination”, explains Marcel Rossat, Hyspec Guinea Operations Manager. “It is sometimes challenging, because the environment we work in is dusty, hot and humid. We are therefore very proud to have received these awards from a valued customer, which recognize our efforts and the involvement of our teams. We are planning to improve our environmental efforts further, by constructing a concrete pad with a bund wall where we will store all of our oil containers.”
“We were pleased to award the Hyspec team with certificates of recognition for good housekeeping and safety awards at Siguiri”, adds Ian Botha, Siguiri Anglogold Ashanti Safety Manager. “Hyspec has one of the best housekeeping on site, a good management of their various wastes, and are respectful of HSE procedures. These awards are therefore well deserved.”
