The strategic partnership comes on the back of a 16 year, single source supply relationship, with Manuli product sales accounting for more than 80% of Hyspec’s turn-over.
With over fifty wholly owned mine-site based workshops in eight African countries, Hyspec is now looking beyond the African continent, with direct access to Fluiconnecto’s manufacturing and distribution hubs in Europe, Asia and Australia. Mutually beneficial for both parties, the partnership will see Fluiconnecto by Manuli increase its global reach from 12 to 22 countries, more than 1000 employees and 200+ service points. Hyspec’s credentials in Africa and site-based service delivery model are complementary to Manuli Fluiconnecto’s growth strategy. Manuli’s commitment to continuous research and development is another advantage for Hyspec who will now have a greater influence in the road map for development of new hydraulic technologies through Manuli’s International Centres of Innovation.
As a member of the Fluiconnecto network, Hyspec now brings it customers closer to the manufacturer than any other hydraulics supplier, with the ability to move the goods faster, ensure supply continuity and deliver truly global logistics solutions – Hyspec’s aim being to assist its customers in improving productivity.
In addition, the relationship will provide Hyspec’s customers with direct access to Manuli’s highly skilled technicians and engineers, who are linked through global innovation centres focused on the continuous development of new technologies and integrated mine site solutions.
