Fluiconnecto UAE Completes ‘Urgent Just in Time’ Batch Delivery of 82 Hydraulic Hose 2” Assemblies

Fluiconnecto UAE supplied 82 high pressure DNV-GL type approved hose assemblies with EC TYPE EXAMINATION CERTIFICATE (MODULE B) complying to ISO 15540 and ISO 15541. The service was completed within a record time of 4 days.

The scope of the project consisted in the supply of high-pressure hose assemblies to a customer working in the On-shore Oil & Gas sector, at ADNOC’s giant BAB onshore field in Abu Dhabi (one of their largest onshore producing assets).

The service started with the identification and assembling of 2” hose assemblies suitable for nitrogen purging and water cleaning.

Fluiconnecto UAE delivered 82 hose assemblies (including 20m, 10m and 6m), within a record time of 4 days. Part of the job required the pin pricking of the hoses to make them suitable for nitrogen application and pumping them into the ballast tanks of the rig (average length of hose assemblies  = 1.500m). Inner and outer skiving of all hose assemblies was required. The hoses were assembled with Class#300 flanges welded with interlock flange using our 12” Crimper MS 550 made by Manuli Hydraulics.
