Fluiconnecto West Africa Conference 2023
Our Fluiconnecto West Africa Conference was held in Ivory Coast on April Tuesday 18th – Thursday 20th. This event was themed and focused on ‘Building a New Horizon Together’ which saw Fluiconnecto West Africa management and key partners collaborate to achieve our common goal – working together to Keep It Running.
Our West Africa Conference set out to achieve three main objectives. This included:
- Promoting collaboration
- Sharing competent business practices and successes
- Focusing on the future development of Fluiconnecto’s service offering
Day 1:
The first day of the event was dedicated to educating Fluiconnecto team members on our company’s ambitions for the future. Various presentations shared by our Quality, Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain managers showed all attendees what it takes to keep Fluiconnecto running on a global scale. These presentations facilitated the sharing of good ideas and good practices.
Day 2:
The second day was focused on our Fire Suppression, Centralized Lubrication and Bulk Filtration / Fluid Conditioning Business Units with presence of our key partners ANSUL, GRACO and HYDAC. The three educational sessions were filled with interactive and supportive information about our markets served on a global scale. The afternoon was dedicated to showing our team members first-hand how ‘We Keep It Running' with a visit to a local Abidjan Bulk Material Port, giving attendees the chance to visit the maintenance department, loading docks and see how floating cranes are used. The interactive session was then carried on at our Abidjan Hydroshop. Attendees were greeted by our Fire Suppression and Centralized Lubrication Business Unit team where multiple demonstrations were conducted.
Day 3:
The third and final day was designed to strengthen group cohesion and team spirit. An adventure to the Ehotilé Islands National Park required some courage from all attendees to venture out of their comfort zone and overcome adversities. This activity showed everyone that abandoning your comfort zone allows you to discover new horizons. To finish the three-day conference, attendees enjoyed team building activities on a paradise beach coupled with an African Gala dinner.
Many positive outcomes were derived from the event as it allowed our West African employees to meet, network, and share successes stories with each other. This collaborative event gave Fluiconnecto Headquarters, Fluiconnecto West Africa team members and key suppliers an opportunity to reward each other for their commitment to Keeping It Running.
Sébastien Brunneliere, GRACO - Country Manager North and West Africa, had many key takeaways from the three-day conference. Sébastien said, the greatest part of the conference was having the “pleasure to collaborate with the Fluiconnecto team! There was a great desire to progress and many development projects to come!”
